I have several questions. I have been using Homestead ever since it was FREE! I am 70 years old, disabled and am totally selft-taught on computer and website design.

Was an "old" commercial artist, designer and typesetter (120wpm) freelancer. I know my website is crowded and will probably have to do something about it eventually.

OK, everything has been ok up till a few days ago. My homepage has now become very, very, very wide! I don't know what has happened. I am online all the time using a cable modem. I promote my own site and am up at top in a lot of engines.

My son built me a new, faster computer and it has been going great for a few months.

My homepage has become very wide and for some reason when I Preview it or Publish it, it throws a few items way to the right and at the very bottom. I have checked all the overlapping elements, etc., etc., long paragraphs, multiple paragraphs and so forth.

Please tell me what is wrong. I usually have figured out all my own problems before.

Thanks, Doug

I still cannot get an updated view of my website on any other computer (via sitebuilder) then the one I use at home to publish our site. Id like to publish changes from work but the computer at work or any other location will not download the current view of our page. This also goes for other people who have access to the account to submit changes. Can anyone send me information on how to correct this? Ive opened trouble tickets, made phone calls to tech support, no luck.. No firewalls here, deleted cookies and all that sort of stuff... still cant see the current page and Id rather not use site-lite. Thank you.

Hi, Nena,
Regarding your comment about adding individual user accounts to each site in your account, if you’re interested, we currently are conducting a PHP beta test. To be considered, you can fill out the form at http://phpsupport.homestead.com.

Thanks for your comment, geosmythe! You would need to use SiteBuilder to remove the password protection from your pages, but as you mentioned, you're having trouble publishing... so that's a definite problem.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to review your pages from here. I strongly recommend submitting a help ticket through our Help Center, so one of our Internet Product & Support Specialists can help you with this. I'll keep an eye out for your help ticket!

I would like to know how to delete password permission from my Site Builder so that I can use my Site Builder Lite. Also, I am now unable to publish my changes from Site Builder. First, I rec a notice saying that there may be some software on my computer that was blocking my ability to publish from Site Builder. When I checked this through the notice, it then stated that I had no such software. But, could still not publish, because this notice continued to pop. Then I went on to read the notice help center, and it seemed to state that I would have to disable all of my protective elements in order to actually use Site Builder.

What am I running into here? I don't want to be bothersome, but I have been paying for this web site for 5 months, don't have the time to mess around with all of this, and because of that am not really being able to use the site.

I was just going to post the same thing the other commenter posted, I think adding the ability to add individual user accounts to each site in my account would be awesome and would ensure my business with homestead for a very long time. I hate changing companies, but with time comes change and im finding a need more and more to have what is similar to a cpanel login for each site to have access to the sitebuilder for each separate site to grant individual users to work on by site.

I was thinking about something that could be very useful if you could add it to both SiteBuilder and SiteBuilder Lite, that is the ability to create user accounts to control these too, let's say I have people working in my company or whatever organization you have and you want them to help you with the website, then it would be great if you could create a user for each one of them and also create permissions to work on especific pages from your website, that way you wouldn't need to give your full access giving your account username and password.

I don't know if you understand my idea but believe me it would be extremely useful.

Thanks!
