I have been using Homestead for almost 10 years, and you are by far the most advanced of the easiest to use site builders. I am thrilled you have added this font feature! Kudos, guys! You're the BEST!

1. How do other h/std users achieve shadowed/mirrored, slightly angled text.

Can someone enlighten me?

2. With various shapes I would like to see the option of 'Border Outline' and select desired colour with background - optional to have fill of any colour OR set to NONE. As is the case with TEXT box.

What is the likelihood of having access to this & when?

3. How does one avoid images, text, shapes etc. on a web page that is MULT-layered from OPENING in increments instead of as ONE unit so to speak?

Is there any CODE that I can insert as an HTML to avoid above?

Tried groups elements - no result. Feels it makes my website somewhat unprofessional.

Are we able to have a 'scrollable' text box. There is a lot more writing we would like to add to certain pages without adding another page. I would like the user to just scroll down that section.

Thanks.

Hi Sam. Could you let us know if there is any remote chance the new text feature will be added to the Navigation feature ? It would be wonderful to ensure a consistent look to a site.

Hi Tiff,

With regular text, if visitors to your website do not have the same fonts that you use in your text, they will not see your fonts on your website. To get around that, the Anti-aliased Text and Logo Elements make images out of the text you type in those elements.

The Text Element leaves everything in it as text, and does not convert it into images. That allows the page to load quicker. To ensure your site looks as you intended, we left just the basic fonts in the Text Element.

It's nice to see more fonts being added only I wish they could be available in the TEXT menu. It's still difficult trying to make the background blend in with the special fonts especially when the color is a print and NOT a solid.

By the way, is there any kind of way to make translucent images and shapes? It would be so cool if this feature was available too. I would also love to see round borders and circle borders and possiblly other shapes. If we had more than the square borders, there would be so many more things that I could do to make my web design style go WOW!!!

Hi Everyone,

You can access all your fonts through two elements in SiteBuilder:

Logo Element:

Anti-aliased Text Element:
