I use the forms feature for summer camp registrations. The form is often completed by a parent registering more than one child and this has lead to two requests.

1.) It would be nice to have a "review" feature between the completion of the form data and the "submit" button. That would give users a chance to check their spelling, phone numbers, addresses, etc. before submission.

2.) It would also be nice to have a "copy form" feature that would allow for multiple submissions of repetitive information. E.g. if a parent is registering two kids, they could copy their address, phone number, etc and only have to change the child's name and personal data.

The forms elements have been a big help in encouraging online registrations. It's a little cumbersome to use but it's worth it! I encourage other homesteaders to keep working with it.

I am completely lost. I don't understand the instructions on how to make a form and I don't understand how to work with layers. Could you give some basic instructions? The ability to have a form is the entire point of my website. Thank you!

Thanks for the info on the form elements. However, quite honestly - the form elements is a weak element that homestead offers. I really hope they 'beef up' this feature in the very near future.

For example, when someone completes a form it would be nice to have a feature to allow the submitter to send a copy of the completed online form to themselves. I previously had to use another website www.formdesk.com to get the features I wanted but no longer wanted to pay for their service so i'm back to using the limited functions of homestead forms - please please please upgrade them!

Hi Monica!

No problem with being off-topic... it happens. If you have any Support questions in the future, please don't hesitate to log into your website account and create a help ticket through the Help Center. We're happy to help you!

But, while I have you here, you can easily re-download the SiteBuilder by logging into your website account and following the SiteBuilder link from the welcome page. SiteBuilder is free to download as many times as you want while your website account is active, so you can re-install it on your new computer, or on multiple computers at once.

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the tip about set the tab order. I knew that they would appear in the order in which they were added to the page but I never knew about the "layer" trick. I use forms a lot on my sites and really like the elements.

This is an off the topic question but I am lost... I had to get a new computer, and need to re load the site builder. I got the site from vista print... but it also has homestead builder on it... where can I download this software (the one I pay monthly for) to my new computer?
Thanks so much for all you guys do! You are great teachers!
