I agree ... I like using Site Builder better. It gives me more options. Question: Can I start a website by using Lite and then convert it to Site Builder (full)? Or vice versa? Tks.

I love Sitebuilder but havent' used the Site Build Lite much. I design sites for others being able to do the work with the software even if offline is a great feature. Please don't ever make the sitebuilder an online tool only. It always takes longer when using online sitebuilders and it's nice to be able to work on the site when there's no internet connection. I've been using homestead since 2004.

I would like to see Homestead move completely to to an online editor. Site Builder Lite is nice and it has gotten better recently but it is still missing a lot of functionality. Going completely online, instead of having to download software, makes it easier to edit a site from anyplace at anytime and will also eliminate Mac compatibility issues.

I should've been using this blog a long time ago. I feel like I'll get even more for my money. Anyone who reads this for the first time (as I just did) will realize how incredibly powerful their sites can be
Thanks Homestead.

Hi Richard,

SiteBuilder Lite is our online browser-based website editor. It allows you to edit your site right on the internet with a browser such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. It is included in your subscription to Homestead, so there is no additional cost.

You can access SiteBuilder Lite by logging in to Homestead at homestead.com
